The sparkles of the jewelry and your eye glitter seem to match the flower, like you were a creature MADE to eat them. The blood also seems to symbolize the flower was a living being, something more than a plant, giving this work a subtle gore-factor.

You look utterly monstrous as you devour your prey. This definitely shows death, in spring, from the hungry destruction of the flower and you being a ravenous beast, giving it an untimely demise.
